Welfare activity at Baranagar

Baranagar Helping Hand  is a Social Welfare  grp functioning in Baranagar  area of Kolkata.  In Durga Puja,2020  they had taken a project to generate income among poor people. During Durga puja in 2020 they decided to handover a rickshaw (2nd hand) to a rickshawpuller as a source of income . This richshaw puller pulling rickshaw on rent basis from the actual owner of the rickshaw. Money that he earned everyday is very less. Moreover in lockdn condition situation is very critical. 80-90% of his earning he is paying as  rent of rickshaw and facing serious financial problem. On behalf of the project this Rickshaw is purchased (Rs 7000/-) and handed over to him. Now he is the owner of the rickshaw and financial problem is solved. This has been done through BARANAGAR HELPING HAND group. In this way the problem is solved
